From 2017, APK has established cooperation with the owner of the LESS-MESS brand, LMS Developments, which is currently developing in Poland a network of several dozen “Self-Storage” facilities, i.e. offering individual customers, both individuals and small businesses, high-standard warehouse space with commercial and office services. Some of them on the ground level are accessible directly from the outside of the building (garage boxes). LMS facilities are open 24/7, monitored and guarded. Access to all floors is ensured by cargo and passenger elevators. The stairwells are intended primarily for evacuation. LMS buildings provide a high level of security and stable climate conditions for the storage of goods. Despite this, they are indeed environmentally friendly, as they have been designed for a minimum demand for energy from non-renewable sources, in accordance with the latest trends. LMS facility installation systems use extensively both solar energy and geothermal heat.
The self-storage building on Aleja Armii Krajowej in Gdansk was, let’s face it, quite a challenge for the architect. Situated on a microscopic plot of land, subject to two Local Master Plans, it forced our team to perform extraordinary acrobatics. However, all ended well and the first building in the noble city of Gdansk of the “Less-Mess” chain was opened to local residents and entrepreneurs at the beginning of March 2025. Even before the official opening, a significant part of the warehouse space had already been rented.
